My Shameless Ploy

In which I show off my new bathing suit for my upcoming Mexico vacation. Just remember, I’m smart and a kick ass professional. Dancing around in a bikini does not diminish me. I am woman hear me roar!

Did you wonder at all about the way I felt I had to compensate for my bikini-ness beforehand by spouting my political beliefs. I felt a little strange about the whole thing, like I was somehow cheapening myself by demonstrating that I’m cute in a swimsuit.
I’m curious to hear perspectives on this…
A beautiful woman can dance in the nude or with a ballroom gown without diminishing herself in anyway. I’m sure there are more than a few Lazarus Long saying that would fit right around now but I’ve forgotten them all.

Cheapening? Never! I’ve always wondered why people seem to think women have to be EITHER attractive and sexy OR intelligent and powerful. No such expectation is foisted upon men.
