Why Doesn’t iTunes Have the New Battlestar Galactica Yet?!?!?!
March 5, 2007
It’s been almost 24 hours since the most recent episode of the best show EVER aired. It’s an episode about Cara Thrace, too. Which makes me want to watch it EVEN MORE!!!!!
Usually, iTunes puts them out by the morning after. But this time, no BSG. What gives, Steve Jobs?

FWIW, when this has happened before (and it has, for sure) the word was that it’s a problem on SciFi’s end, not Apple’s. Usually when this happens, it’s also not yet available on cable TV’s “on demand” service, which additionally points to it not being Apple.
Wow! I never knew. I’m totally going to check on demand immediately.
And in that case, DAMN YOU SciFi Channel!!!!
It’s after 9pm Pacific and STILL no BSG on iTunes. This is getting ridiculous. It wouldn’t be so bad if they were at least regular about it, but sometimes it’s delivered the morning after and sometimes it’s days. What gives?
You know, I don’t think they’re really aware of what they’re doing to us. It’s really cruel and unusual.
It’s after 7am Pacific and still nothing. Sigh. And I’m already hearing that this is a must-talk-about episode.
I’m doing what I should have done yesterday morning. *opens BitTorrent*
Chris: And they wonder why we download illegally.
It finally arrived at 8:30am Pacific, just in time for me to be at work, avoiding people who’ve seen the ep already. The torrent was just about completed, as well.
Thanks for keeping me entertained with your blog while I waited. You’ve earned a regular reader. Stop by Global Spin for some politics, science, or subversive humor any time.
Chris: I’m downloading it as we speak. All my friends from the climbing gym were talking about the ep last night and I had to avoid them all. Most irritating!
I’m glad to know that you’ll be coming back. It’s always good to have smart commenters around. I added you to my RSS reader.
