Happy Birthday, Dear Mommy!

Today is my dear mother’s birthday. While I was in New York last week, I showed this photo of my mom to Andy’s grandmother:

“Oh my!” she said. “Your mother is such a beautiful lady. Now I see where you get it from.”

It’s true. My mom is a beautiful lady. She’s also funny, smart, and unbelievably hardworking. I owe her a great deal and I’m proud she’s my mom.
