TeresaCentric is Back Online

Well, we hit a little snag with our MySQL databases. Somewhere along the line, the database convinced itself that we were running WP 1.0 and all kinds of strange things started to happen. Thankfully, fixing the problem wasn’t too complicated once my friend Jennifer explained it to me.

There’s just one little snafu. While the database was fracked, all the plugins deactivated. That includes Akismet, which is responsible for blocking all of the spam that comes through this site. When I finally was able to get back into the WordPress backend, I had 1,245 comments to approve. In the interests of preserving my sanity, I assumed that they were all spam.

If you’ve left a comment on this blog in the past couple of days and it hasn’t been approved, that’s probably why. Drop me an e-mail at tsv02001 [at] gmail [dot] com and we’ll sort things out.
