Obama Wins Guam
May 4, 2008
Despite heavy campaigning and pandering by Hillary Clinton (she said Guam should be allowed to vote in the general election), Barack Obama won the completely meaningless Guam primary by 7 votes. As Guam only has four delegates, they were split 2-2, making this primary about as meaningful as Pennsylvania, Ohio, Texas, Mississippi, Rhode Island, Vermont, North Carolina, Indiana, Oregon and EVERY other primary in which neither candidates blows out the other one.
I’m sorry to all you Clinton supporters, but the way the Democratic primary works is, if one candidate blows out the other in 11 consecutive states by 2-1 margins, that effectively ends the race. This may not be the best system, but it is the one both candidates agreed to. This race ended a long time ago and it being fueled solely by three things: Cable News ratings, and denial by Mrs. Clinton.
But Mrs. Clinton will not catch up in terms of pledged delegates. She will not even cut the margin below 100. Period.

hey i heard about rev wright speaking on cnn and then about obama in PA and how he said something about God and guns that was controversial. i haven’t had the time to keep up or look into this, what’s your take?
