What are “Crisis Pregnancy Centers” Doing with Your Tax Dollars?

It makes my blood boil to know that pregnant young women are being lied to in so many ways in order to prevent them from choosing abortion - and with my tax dollars.

    Likewise, it’s disgusting that crisis centers ALSO get tax dollars to circumvent state laws, and perform procedures without proper notifications for guardians.

    But that’s the harm of an ever-expanding government: once you give it the power to do “X”, you also give it the power to outlaw “X”, or even make “X” mandatory.

    That’s what disgusts me the most.

    Ike, I guess that depends what you mean by “proper notifications” - parental notification laws, no matter how well-intentioned - cause a great deal of strife. I think you and I both agree that additional government attempts to regulate human behavior more often end in flusterclucks than actual positive outcomes.
